Eli Spevak has been at the forefront of affordable housing options since developing Peninsula Park Commons over a decade ago. Since then he has had a hand in helping create seven other small, affordable communities in Portland, and one in Corvallis.

The Mason Street Townhomes development will not only add more mid-range housing options for buyers, Orange Splot, LLC will also be working with Proud Ground and the City of Portland to make 3 of these homes permanently affordable to homebuyers at 80% of Median Family Income. Through what they call “voluntary inclusionary zoning,” Orange Splot LLC will be contributing at least $50K per affordable unit.
